Job Description:

The Supply Chain Intern will assist in collecting, analyzing, and reporting supply chain metrics to support business objectives. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sourcing, engineering, and quality, to ensure data accuracy and actionable insights.

 

Responsibilities:

 

As an intern, the candidate should assist in creating Power BI or Excel dashboards for supply chain metrics. He/ She must report key supply chain metrics such as material productivity, savings, and payment term improvements, while ensuring follow-up actions.

The candidate will provide analytical support to strategic sourcing teams by tracking specific metrics and contributing to key projects and Develop detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) documenting report logic and assumptions.

Candidate will identify & recommend opportunities to improve reporting and team productivity. The candidate must utilize continuous improvement tools to streamline processes. He/ She ensure data accuracy across digital reporting eco systems and maintain consistency across multiple systems.

Candidate should participate in portfolio initiatives and assist in executing supply chain projects. He / she must support business units with specific projects s need.

 

Qualification:

 

The candidate should specialized in operations/ mechanical/ electrical with knowledge and have interest in supply chain management preferred. Candidate should proficient in Microsoft Office or analytics and presentation.

Candidate must have Power BI understanding and certification and also have ERP knowledge such as SAP/ Oracle. He / She also have analytical skills. Candidate must have strong ability to break down data sets into meaningful interpretations and understanding of reporting and data integrity.

The candidate must have good business communication – written and verbal. Applicant have good communication skills to understand requirements quickly and represent data as per business needs.

Candidate must have interpersonal skills. He/ She should be able to work in a global environment with stakeholders located in different regions and have effective collaboration to meet shared goals. The candidate must have flexible attitude with a willingness to learn new skills with high learning agility.

The candidate must have an excellent eye for detail to identify and articulate problems accurately and he / she should be Demonstrates accountability in all tasks.
