Tower Research Capital, a high-frequency proprietary trading firm founded in 1998, is looking for a Software Developer to join its Infrastructure Automation team. This role involves building innovative solutions to enhance the efficiency and reliability of trading platform operations. The developer will work on automation tools that streamline processes, improve system performance, and ensure smooth trading activities.
The Managed Services division focuses on optimizing Tower’s trading infrastructure by implementing cutting-edge technologies and automation strategies. Responsibilities:
Candidates will play a key role in driving strategic projects aimed at automating Tower’s production environment. By developing innovative applications, they will help disrupt traditional processes and introduce solutions that address real-world challenges. This involves working on cutting-edge tools that enhance efficiency, optimize workflows, and improve overall system performance.
Candidates will be responsible for maintaining and improving a wide range of internal systems and tools. They will explore open-source technologies and integrate them into in-house products, ensuring the development of an agile framework that can quickly adapt to evolving business requirements. The ability to analyze complex problems and implement effective solutions will be essential in this role.
Candidates will collaborate with various technical teams, providing support and ensuring seamless integration of new technologies. Detailed Eligibility Criteria and Qualification:
Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science from a top college or university, with an overall CGPA of 8 and above. While prior financial experience is not required, it would be an added advantage. The role requires strong knowledge of the full web programming stack, enabling the development of efficient and high-performing web applications.
Candidates with experience working on distributed systems will have an advantage, as this role may involve handling large-scale applications. A good understanding of Linux systems and proficiency in shell scripting will be essential for managing system operations and automating tasks. Strong communication skills are also necessary to collaborate effectively with different teams and ensure smooth project execution.
